ABOUT THE TEAM

Prof. (Dr.) G.S.Bajpai [Chief Patron, CBFL]

Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai serves as the Vice Chancellor of National Law University Delhi. He is equipped with more than thirty years of professional experience as an author, researcher, teacher and administrator. He has previously served as the Vice Chancellor at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab. Registrar, National Law University Delhi. Prof. Bajpai has authored twenty-two books/monographs; more than fifty papers; more than ninety op-eds in leading dailies like Indian Express, the Hindu, and the Tribune and thirteen project reports etc. His areas of include Victim Justice, Critical Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Empirical Legal Research and Legal Theory.

 

Prof. (Dr.) Ritu Gupta [Research Director, CBFL]

Prof. (Dr.) Ritu Gupta is a Professor of Law at NLUD and has got a teaching experience of almost 20 years. Her areas of interest include commercial and corporate laws with a particular focus on banking law and competition law. She is also interested in the intersection of commercial law with gender-related laws at the workplace. She has written two books one on ‘Sexual Harassment at Work Place’ and the other on ‘Law of Contract’ including the Specific Relief Act, 1963, both published by LexisNexis. She was featured in the BW Legal's List of Most Influential Women in Law, in the Academician category 2023.

 

Student Team

The Student Team at CBFL is responsible for running the CBFL Blog, along with organizing and coordinating events at the Centre. As of 2022, it comprises Aadarsh Gautam, Aditi Gupta, Aditya Singh Jethwant, Akshat Jain, Anupama Bhattacharya, Aryan Gupta, Ayush Katyayana, Harshil Shriwas, Karina Chawla, Prakhar Rathore, Pranika Goel, Priyanjali Malik, Samar Veer, Sanskruti Yukta Nayak, Suryansh Singh, Varnika Agarwal and Vasushrava Mahipal.
